Who we are

This website is operated by the election campaign of Verlin Wiebe, candidate for council in the Municipality of Roblin, Manitoba, for the October 28, 2026 municipal election. It is not an official website of the Municipality of Roblin. Authorized by the official agent for Verlin Wiebe..

What information we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us through forms on this site. Depending on the form, that can include:

• Your name and email address (contact, volunteer, sign-request, and subscriber forms).
• Your telephone number, when you choose to provide it.
• Your preferred contact method (telephone, text or email).
• Your address or neighbourhood (for lawn-sign delivery or volunteer organizing).
• Your survey answers, feedback, ideas, comments, and any message you write.
• An anonymous browser token used solely so the ideas board can record one vote per idea per visitor - it contains no personal information.

Anonymous feedback submissions collect no contact information at all.

How your information is used

Your information is used only for campaign purposes:

• Replying to your questions, ideas, concerns and invitations.
• Organizing volunteers and delivering lawn signs.
• Sending campaign updates - by email or by text - only if you asked to receive them.
• Notifying you about activity on ideas you chose to follow on the ideas board.
• Understanding which issues matter to residents, in aggregate.

Individual feedback is kept confidential; only general themes are ever discussed publicly.

Text message (SMS) consent

Providing your telephone number in a form does not sign you up for campaign text messages. Campaign texts are sent only when you tick the separate, unchecked consent box labelled “Send me occasional campaign updates by text message.”

That consent is recorded per submission, together with the date and time you gave it, and campaign texts are sent only to the list of people who ticked that box. You can withdraw consent at any time using the stop text updates page - it takes effect immediately - or by replying “stop” to any campaign text or contacting us (below).

Who can access your information

Form submissions are visible only to authorized campaign staff through a passcode-protected administrative area that is not linked from public pages. Access is limited to the smallest practical number of campaign team members, and it is used only for the purposes described above.

This site is hosted on Lovable Cloud, which stores website data securely on our behalf. We do not sell, trade, rent or share your personal information with other organizations, campaigns or third parties, and it is never published on this website.

What we never do

We do not publish your personal information, display it on this website, sell it, trade it or share it with other organizations or campaigns. No consent box on this site is ever pre-checked.

How long we keep it

Campaign records are kept only as long as needed for campaign purposes and any applicable election record-keeping requirements, after which they are deleted.

Access, correction and deletion

You may ask at any time to see what information the campaign holds about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To make a request:

• Use the data deletion request form - matching records are queued for removal right away, or
• Email hello@verlin.ca, or
• call or text the campaign at 431-937-VOTE (8683), or
• Use the contact form and choose “Ask Verlin a question”.

We will confirm your identity, carry out the request promptly, and let you know when it is done. Deleting your information also removes you from all campaign contact lists.

Unsubscribing from updates

Every campaign update message includes a way to unsubscribe, and ideas-board notifications include a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by replying “unsubscribe” to any campaign email or writing to hello@verlin.ca. We will remove you promptly and confirm.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page. Material changes will be noted on the campaign updates page.
